１２月の半ばに「京大式カード？」で飽きたら止めます。
と書いた京大式カード（B6の情報カード）ですが、テスト前に使うのを止めてしまいました。
悪くはない……。悪くはないけど、めんどくさい。良い使い方が出来ていないのだとは思いますが、それ以上に性格に合わなかったようです。あと、自分の行動パターンを考えた場合、あまり必要じゃなかったのかもしれません。
まず、なぜ京大式カードを利用しようと思ったのか。
理由は大きく３つあって、１つは検索性の高いカードに各科目のポイントを書き留めておくことで、後にレポートを書いたりテスト勉強をする際に確認が簡単になるから。
２つ目はカードを何度も取り出して調べることでカードを検索するときの思考を体に染みつかせたかったから（つまり、カードの中身は完璧に覚えていなくても「今、あのカードが欲しい」ということが分かるようになりたかった）。
３つ目はメモがわりにB6という大きめのカードに書き込むことで、小さい紙切れに書き込むよりも考えが発展するかもしれないと思ったからです。
以上の目的に京大式カードが適してるとは今でも思っています。
ただ、案の定「ポイントをまとめる」という作業が大変でした。まず、今学んでいることなので何が重要なポイントなのかがいまいち分からない。かといって、例えば数学で言うなら「定理」や「命題」を全部書き留めていくのはとても大変です。がんばれる人はここでがんばるのでしょうが……ダメでした。挫折しました。結局、活用する段階に到達する前に挫折してしまったということに……沢山買ったのに……orz。
せっかく買い込んだ京大式カードを使わなくなってしまったもう一つの理由に、上に書いた目的を達成するための代替策が少し考えれば色々出てくるということに気づき「結局、京大式カードにこだわる必要が無いのかも？」という結論に達したというのがあるのですが……これは後日書こうかと思います。
